This heritage combination provides and amazing insight into the real stories and historical environs of Cobh, tracing its buildings and monuments connecting the visitor to the underlying narrative of locations associated with Titanic and the wider heritage of this harbourside town on the walking tour. Spectacular audio visual displays of the Heritage Centre capture the human reality of emigration, and the significant importance of Cork Harbour in world affairs such as the sinkings of Titanic and Lusitania, the flood of emigration and the tragedy of transportation. Tickets for this combined tour must be booked at least 24 hours in advance

I’m glad we stopped in while in port with a cruise. Very nice museum that covers the full history of Irish emigration. It keeps your attention because it’s on a more personal level. You meet real people and hear real stories.

  • The Cobh Cultural Tour starts at the Commodore Hotel at 11 a.m. and takes approx. one hour.
  • Visitors who purchase Cultural Tour tickets can visit our tour either before or after the walking tour depending on their schedule.
  • A minimum of 2 people are required to make a booking.

Entry times

  • We’re open daily from 9:30am. You may arrive at any time from then.
  • Mid October to Mid April – Last entry at 4pm
  • Mid April to Mid October – Last entry at 5pm
